This is a complete integrated Capacitance and Tan Delta test set including an inbuilt 12kV AC power source, and a reference SF6 gas filled Standard Capacitor.

Simple to use and easy to operate, its GUI (graphical user interface) is a delight, to be viewed on a large backlit LCD display, and soft touch membrane buttons. The connections are simple the set can be operated after minimal training. It does not need experienced operators, but surely the person needs to know the connection methodology to the object under test, very well.

Equipped with a RS232 serial output port, users can save their test results on PCs, or can use the internal 99 test storage facility. Integrated thermal Printer also allows priting of results on site The instruments are calibrated in our in-house test laboratory to give you results traceable to national standards.

POWER ELECTRONICAL Capacitance and Tan­-Delta Test System (Model HVTD­M1/100) has inbuilt HV Power Source, Standard Capacitor (SF6 Gas Filled), and set of cables. The compact design of the system uses the principle of three winding differential transformer on a high permeability mu-metal core. The set is contained in a sturdy metallic housing with mu-metal lining which shields it from external electromagnetic & electrostatic influences. Built-in battery powered Null indicator makes the system suitable for operation in workshop, factories, High Voltage Switch Yards etc. It is suitable for both grounded as well as ungrounded objects.

The Capacitance & Dissipation Factor Test System has been specially shielded with configured layouts of mu-metal sheets to avoid the effect of external interferences. This makes the measurement accurate in out door applications particularly in very high magnetic induction Switch yards.

The system is provided with High Voltage Protection Devices which protect the system and operator against failure of test object or standard capacitor.
